KRIYARA Design Fest!

Brief description – 

The School of Design at Galgotias University hosted the lively "KRIYARA Design Fest” on 25th October, 2024 which featured a wide variety of sustainable and inventive design projects created by exceptional students. The event emphasised the students' artistic abilities and innovation, showcasing a variety of products such as eco-friendly wind chimes, diyas, torans, and Lippan art, as well as detailed interior designs for kitchens and cafés that included 3D models. Additionally, advertising students showcased their distinctive birdhouse designs and Elements of Design models. The students' dedication and creativity were recognised by esteemed industry experts and university leaders who attended the festival.

Detailed Description – 

The School of Design at Galgotias University recently hosted the vibrant “KRIYARA Design Fest,” where our talented students showcased an impressive array of creative, innovative, and sustainable design projects. From Sustainable Wind Chimes, Diyas, Torans, and Lippan Art to detailed Kitchen Design Projects with 3D Models and Café Interior Projects, the event was a testament to our students’ artistic flair and commitment to eco-friendly solutions. Students from the Advertising program also brought their Elements of Design Models and Bird House Designs to life, demonstrating their design expertise and creativity.

This event reflects the vision of our CEO, Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, who aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering creativity and innovation at every step. The Vice Chancellor, Dr. K Mallikarjuna Babu, carefully observed the creativity on display and expressed his appreciation for the students’ efforts, highlighting their dedication to innovation. The Pro Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Avadhesh Kumar, extended his best wishes and commended the students’ achievements, encouraging future partnerships to support continued growth and collaboration.

We were honored to have esteemed guests who brought their expertise to the event: Ar. Pragya Tripathi, Director of Aeiforia Group; Ar. Anil Chaudhary, President and Founder of the Greater Noida Architects Association; and Ar. Shriyank Tandon, Principal Architect of SJ Architects and Planners. Their insightful evaluations and encouragement were invaluable, and we thank them for their support.

Special acknowledgment goes to Ms. Ruchi Arora, Head of the School of Design, for her visionary leadership that made this event a success.
