Industry Expert Talk - Start Your Startup

The “Expert talk on Start your startup” for the final year students of B Com (H), B Com (FM), B Com (IAF), MBA (FM) of the academic year 2024-25 was held on 08th October 2024, from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM, in the college auditorium. The event saw an enthusiastic participation of around 175-208 students, with 15 Faculty members. The session started off with an engaging welcome address by the event coordinators. 

The session expert Mr. Saleem Khan (AVP at Arthnirmiti, SPWF’S, Mumbai) sir was welcomed with a bouquet by Dean sir Professor Dr. Anurag Saxena with SOC faculty members. The session was started with some introductory words and some videos were played about start your startup event. Then students were given a chance to ask various questions about how to start new startups. The students were actively participated throughout the session. 

Expert Mr. Saleem Khan Sir, delivered a compelling presentation on the process of converting innovation into successful startups. The talk covered various aspects of entrepreneurship, innovation, key characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, types of 

entrepreneurs, the significance of networking and mentorships, funding options, global entrepreneurship trends, challenges faced by entrepreneurs, successful case studies, qualities of an entrepreneurial mindset, and concluded with insights into the future of entrepreneurship.

The event was wrapped up with closing remarks by Dean, Dr. Anurag Saxena with facilitated a small token of appreciation, where the coordinators thanked all the participants for their energy and enthusiasm. It was evident that all students had enrich their knowledge.

Overall, the “Start your Startup” was a grand success, filled with full of knowledge.
