Event Detailed Description

The Department of Pharmacy, School of Medical & Allied Sciences at Galgotias University, organized an insightful industrial visit for pharmacy students to Radicon Laboratories Ltd. on 30th November 2024 (Saturday). The visit commenced at 11:00 AM onwards at the company’s facility located at Ecotech XII, 108A, Chowk, near EK MURTI, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh – 201306. The main objective of the visit was to bridge the gap between theoretical pharmaceutical education and practical industrial exposure. The visit was convened by Prof. SK Abdul Rahaman (Dean, SMAS) and co-convened by Prof. Niranjan Kaushik, with coordination by Mr. Nishant Kumar Sharma (Organizing Secretary) and faculty co-coordinators Dr. Dhruv Vasisthha, Dr. Surendra Jatav, and Mrs. Deepika Sharma. During the visit, students explored various pharmaceutical manufacturing processes including tablet compression, capsule filling, liquid filling lines, packaging sections, and quality control laboratories. They witnessed the functioning of state-of-the-art machines and were guided by industry professionals who explained the importance of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and documentation protocols. The visit provided students with practical knowledge about industrial workflows and enhanced their understanding of the pharmaceutical industry’s operational standards. Overall, the industrial visit to Radicon Laboratories Ltd. proved to be an enriching experience that deepened the students’ technical knowledge, broadened their career perspectives, and reinforced classroom learning with real-world insights.
