The Family Dispute Resolution Centre (FDRC) was inaugurated on 4th September 2025 at Cherry County Police Chowky, Greater Noida, in collaboration between the Police Commissionerate, Gautam Buddha Nagar, and Galgotias University. The Centre was formally inaugurated by the Commissioner of Police, Ms. Laxmi Singh, ADG, Gautam Buddha Nagar, in the presence of senior police officials including DCP Women Safety, ACP Women Safety, DCP Central Noida, ADCP Central Noida, ACP Bisrakh, OSD Mediation, CO Bisrakh, DCP HQ, and SHO Bisrakh.

From Galgotias University, Hon’ble Chancellor Sh. Suneel Galgotia, Ms. Aradhana Galgotias, Director Operations, Prof. (Dr.) K. Mallikharjuna Babu, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Nitin Kumar Gaur, Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Aditya Tomer, Dean, School of Law, faculty members, and students attended the event, underlining the University’s commitment to community engagement. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between the Commissionerate and the University to institutionalize this collaboration.
