Exposure Visit of Students to Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela at IARI-New Delhi

The three-day Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela (02-04 March, 2023) with the theme 'Nutritional, Food, and Environmental Security through millets (Sree Anna)' was hosted at the sprawling campus of ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. The Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar. In the mela, Students of agriculture visited every stall. They got exposure about new varieties of crops that have been developed by the institute along with other innovative technologies of IARI, such as the Pusa Decomposer, solar-powered Pusa-Farm Sun Fridge, Pusa Complete Bio-Fertilizer (unique liquid formulation providing phosphorous, nitrogen, and potassium). Students also visited to stall of Agro based private and public industry and acquaint about their products and future prospects of job and internships.
