Educational visit to Parliament of India (30-05-2025)

On Friday, May 30, 2025, students and faculty members from the School of Liberal Education & School of Languages, Galgotias University, had the incredible opportunity to visit the Indian Parliament, New Delhi — the beating heart of the world’s largest democracy.
This educational visit offered an unforgettable, real-world learning experience that brought classroom theories to life. The students explored both the New Parliament and the historic old Parliament building, embarking on a vivid journey through India’s political legacy and constitution evolution.
Students had the privilege of witnessing the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, the iconic Central Hall, the Parliamentary Library, and the inspirational Prerna-sthal.
The Parliament officials made a presentation on the Parliament and it's working. Students benefitted a lot from guided tour of entire premises of the Parliament which was followed by the question and answer session.
Students felt inspired and motivated walking through the same halls where leaders have shaped the destiny of the nation, gaining first hand insight into how policies and laws are debated, refined, and enacted.
The visit illuminated India’s legislative processes, parliamentary proceedings, and the working of democratic institutions. By observing the significance of parliamentary decorum and understanding the responsibilities of elected representatives, students deepened their appreciation for civic engagement, constitutional values, and the true spirit of governance.
Such immersive experiences are a powerful reminder that education goes beyond classrooms, nurturing informed, responsible, and active citizens of tomorrow.
