Event Detailed Description

The 6-Day Drone Training Program for faculty members focused on developing technical understanding and practical skills in unmanned aerial systems. Participants engaged in sessions on drone fundamentals, aerodynamics, regulatory frameworks, and laboratory safety. Hands-on modules included CAD–CAM modeling, 3D printing, FPV drone assembly, motor and ESC integration, soldering, flight controller setup, and autopilot calibration. Faculty also performed thrust testing, FPV flying, and drone soccer activities, followed by mission planning and autonomous waypoint navigation. The workshop strengthened faculty expertise in UAV systems, enabling them to support student projects, initiate drone-based research, and contribute to academic innovation.
