This event is about the cleanliness drive on site. Here GALGOTIAS SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY (GSS) planned to conduct this event, In this event our main focus Is to clean the site nearby locality of alpha. 

DETAILED DESCRIPTION 

The Sustainable Society of our college organized a Cleanliness Drive in a nearby locality to promote hygiene, sustainability, and environmental awareness. A large number of students and volunteers participated enthusiastically in the initiative. The drive began with the collection of litter, plastic bottles, wrappers, and other non biodegradable waste scattered in the area. Participants were divided into teams to cover different zones efficiently, ensuring that the maximum area could be cleaned within the limited time. Along with cleaning, the volunteers also interacted with local residents to spread awareness about the importance of waste segregation, reducing plastic use, and maintaining cleanliness in public spaces. Posters and slogans were used to make the message more impactful. By the end of the drive, the area was visibly cleaner, and the residents appreciated the effort. This initiative highlighted the society’s commitment to building a cleaner and greener environment while inspiring collective responsibility. 

EVENT OUTCOME 

The cleanliness drive successfully transformed the locality into a cleaner space, raised awareness about waste management, and inspired both students and residents to adopt eco-friendly practices for a sustainable future.
