School of liberal education, Galgotias University organized ““Awareness on Gender Sensitivity and Prevention of Sexual Harassment”
”on July 4th, 2023. The Students of School of Liberal Education participated in the event. Honorable Dean Ma'am Prof. (Dr) Anuradha Parasar inaugurated the session with her informative and valuable talk. Around 95 faculties and students joined the event. Dr. Paroma Sen delivered the welcome note for ICC Chairperson Prof. (Dr) Anamika Pandey and Dean ma’am started the Programme with her informative lecture. Prof. (Dr) Renu Luthra (Advisor to Chancellor of Galgotias University) presented her view on Gender Sensitivity. She shared her personal experience to explain that how society treats daughter unequally and how the concept of ‘Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus’ explaining that men and women are unable to sensitize themselves towards each other. She shared an incident (on gender insensitivity) of Galgotias University and how University successfully dealt with that incident. On the other hand, as being part of ICC, Prof. (Dr) Anamika Pandey delivers an interactive session on Awareness on Gender Sensitivity and Prevention of Sexual Harassment. She asked some questions from the audience and analyze their answer. She critically explains that how gender differentiation beliefs of the society deliver by the one another generation and it is still enough powerful to influence the young generation thoughts, choices, behavior etc. So many questions raised by the students and faculty members and those are successfully answered by the Prof. (Dr) Anamika Pandey.
The students of school of liberal Education geared up for three hours of interactive and interesting session. Under the guidance of the Dean Mam, Dr. Paroma Sen organized the session. The liberal education faculty members were in charge of coordinating the event. The purpose of this programme was the holistic development of the students. Dr. Anuradha Parasar, Professor Ma'am said thanking note to the present members.
