School of Nursing in Galgotias University has organized an Alumni Talk on theme ‘Exploring Global Career Opportunities after Graduation’ on 9th September, 2025. The talk was delivered by Mr. Arjun Arora, an alumnus from batch 2020-24, who has successfully cleared his Germany B1 working visa. The session was attended by 3rd and 5th semester students. Mr. Arora shared his journey, preparation strategies, and career guidance with the students.
Event Detailed Description
The talk began with a warm welcome by Dr. Sonia, the event coordinator, and introduction by Ms. Shambhavi, Nursing Tutor. Mr. Arjun Arora shared his experiences about preparing for the Germany working visa, including study routines, important exam tips, and subject areas to focus on. Students actively interacted with the speaker, asking questions about global placement benefits and career opportunities. The session concluded with Dr. Lekha Bist, Dean of School of Nursing, thanking Mr. Arora and emphasizing the importance of aligning academics with job readiness. The alumni association coordinator also highlighted the role of the alumni portal and association. The event was highly beneficial as students gained insight into international career opportunities in nursing.
