A Step towards Green India

In this event, we launched "Centre for Sustainability" at School of Business, GALGOTIAS UNIVERSITY. During the launch of the event, young entrepreneur have been invited who are working in this area. All 3 guests have inspired the audience and they focused on building a greener, more resilient future for our nation. They also focused on various career opportunities in sustainability area. As we stand at a crossroads between development and environmental responsibility, sustainability is no longer optional — it is essential. This event brought together thought leaders, change-makers, and young minds committed to creating meaningful impact through innovation, collaboration, and data-driven action.
Shubham Thakur: Expert of Climate Communication talked about the credit rating, climate communication and climate accounting, which gives the insight how important is to have the record of all these data.
Suman Das: Expert of recycling the products and having the B2B platform which sells the sustainable products.
Abhijith Menon: A young entrepreneur, who is working in the area of waste management. Collecting waste and using it for the various purposes are giving the boost to the economy.
When I saw these youngsters, the biggest relief was that India is in safe hands. What truly stood out in the event, was the shared vision of a “Green India” — not just in policy or planning, but in real, measurable progress powered by awareness and accountability.
The event has been concluded with the vote of thanks to the industry experts. Together, we’re not just talking sustainability — we will be living it.
Let’s keep pushing forward. Because every small step leads to a greener tomorrow. Having this interaction with these young entrepreneur is not the end, it's just a beginning.
