18 Galgotias University Students Won Apple’s Swift Student Challenge 2026
In a remarkable achievement, 18 students from Galgotias University’s iOS Development Centre have won Apple’s prestigious Swift Student Challenge 2026 — a global competition recognizing innovative student developers who build impactful apps using Swift Playgrounds.
The Swift Student Challenge has provided thousands of student developers worldwide with a platform to showcase their creativity and coding capabilities through app playgrounds, while enabling them to develop real-world skills that they can take into their careers and beyond.
For the 2026 edition, Apple selected 350 winners globally, of which 18 are from Galgotias University.
The winning students developed creative applications across diverse domains such as accessibility, education, healthcare, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence, demonstrating how technology can address real world challenges.
The winners and their apps include:
Abhyansh (TraceBuds), Ansh Srivastava (Cellumina), Avnish Singh (ALS Assist), Kartik Kaushik (WaveQuest), Manas Dubey (MoleVerse), Nancy (DermaSync), Prem Kumar (Melo), Sumit (QuickMathAR), Abhinav Gupta (MetricMind), Abu Shahma Ansari (FTR: Feel The Road), Anish Umar (Vaani), Anshu Nagar (Dyslexia Lens), Harshit Gupta (Infold), Kushagra Kulshrestha (Salt Quest), Md Akhlak (AxonFlow), Nupur Sharma (Sense Shade), Rohan Singh Bhojak (MotionCanvas), and Suraj Kumar (BetterSpeak).
Notably, Abu Shahma Ansari and Harshit Gupta have won the Swift Student Challenge for the second consecutive year, having also been selected as winners in 2025.
This accomplishment reflects the strong ecosystem of innovation, mentorship, and global-standard app development training at Galgotias University’s iOS Development Centre, empowering students to build impactful technologies for the future.
