Professor

Dr. Tasha Singh Parihar is a professor since 2021 at the School of Media and Communication Studies, Galgotias University, India and Active Learning Mentor trained by Nanyang Technological University, Singapore now mentoring 30 faculty mentees over teaching pedagogy and have trained 1000+ faculty members of Galgotias University. She holds a PhD in Mass Communication from Amity University, Noida, and is a gold medalist at both the Master’s and Bachelor’s level in Journalism and Mass Communication. 

With over 15 years of academic experience, Dr. Parihar has served in reputed institutions like Amity University, Noida, as well as worked in broadcasting unit of Dainik Bhaskar, Indore and conducted media research project in the capacity of Project Associate of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in IMS Noida. She has successfully supervised 7 PhD scholars in areas such as social media, fake news, OTT platforms, and brand communication. Currently guiding 4 PhD scholars.

Her teaching expertise spans courses like Artificial Intelligence and Media, Communication Research, Public Speaking, and Digital Reporting. Dr. Parihar is an active member of professional bodies such as IAMCR and SACA, and frequently contributes as a resource person and session chair in national and international conferences. She is in the reviewer panel of many Scopus indexed journals and also external examiner to J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, Faridabad, CCS University, Meerut, SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, GGSIPU, New Delhi.
