MICROCHIP -CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE

Galgotias University has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Microchip Technology India Pvt. Ltd., a global leader in smart, connected, and secure embedded control solutions. The MoU, establishes a Centre of Excellence for Microchip Embedded Systems within the university.

This strategic collaboration aims to create a high-impact ecosystem of learning, innovation, and applied research. The Centre will provide students and faculty with industry-aligned training, hands-on experience, expert lectures, industrial visits, internship opportunities, and access to cutting-edge embedded technologies. It also strengthens the university’s commitment to offering skill-based, technology-driven education.

Key highlights of the partnership include the launch of joint research projects led by Galgotias faculty in collaboration with Microchip experts, specialized training programs for students and Microchip personnel, and faculty development through workshops, conferences, and industry interactions. The collaboration will also facilitate real-time industry projects, internships, sabbatical opportunities, and co-teaching models that enhance industry–academia engagement.

This MoU reflects Galgotias University’s vision of delivering world-class, industry-relevant education and reinforces its dedication to innovation-led learning.
