Dr. Surendra Jatav is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, School of Medical and Allied Sciences, Galgotias University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He has a total teaching and research experience of more than 10 years. He completed his B. Pharmacy from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, followed by M.S. (Pharm) in Medicinal Chemistry from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Mohali. He obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Panjab University, Chandigarh, with specialization in the synthesis of novel glycoconjugates for neurodegenerative and antimicrobial applications.
Dr. Jatav has contributed significantly to research in the areas of large and small molecule synthesis, novel drug development, targeted therapy for Alzheimer’s disease, and the design of coumarin-based glycoconjugates with antimicrobial and anticancer potential. He has published research in reputed journals, authored book chapters, and collaborated with premier national research institutes.
He has qualified competitive national level exam such as GPAT (2012) and NIPER JEE (2012, AIR-48). He also received prestigious fellowships including UGC-Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF) and DBT-CIAB fellowship during his doctoral research.
