Dr. Indu has completed her postdoctoral fellowship from Federal Institute of Science, Education and Technology, IFCE Brazil. She has 11 years of expertise in teaching, research and development. Currently she is serving as a Professor in the Department of ECE at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, U.P., India since July 2017. Prior to this she has worked as technical trainer in Axes Nano technologies Pvt. Ltd. and as an Assistant professor in MERI College of Engineering. She is certified in Design Thinking (2024), Quality Assurance Through NAAC accreditation Process through Swayam with 94% (2023) and Teaching and Learning in Engineering (TALE) through NPTEL (2019)
She received her Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Galgotias University, Greater Noida, in wireless communication especially in securing vehicular communication with trust model. She has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in top-tier journals/conferences published by IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, among others. She has published 7 patents. With specialization in wireless Communication her field of Interest includes vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANET), Internet of Things (IoT), Internet of vehicles (IoV), Artificial Intelligence (AI), security techniques, Smart Cities, Healthcare, Transportation and Wireless Technologies. Her work on developing IoT-based traffic prediction and traffic signal control system for smart city has been widely cited and recognized for its groundbreaking contributions.
She has contributed in the research field as a Faculty Resource Person, Session Chair, Reviewer, Technical Committee member and Conference Secretary in various conferences and journals. She is also serving as Editor Board Member in Global Journal of innovation and Emerging Technology since 2023 and as a reviewer for several leading journals in her field. She is Fellow member of Eudoxia Research Centre, USA (ERU/FMERU/2023/273). She is Active member of IEEE, IEEE-WIE and IAEngg.
As a Professor at Galgotias University, Dr. Indu is known for her engaging teaching style and commitment to student success. Dr. Indu has mentored over 15 graduate students, 2 Post Graduate students and 3 Ph.D Scholars for their Project and Research work. Many Students mentored by her have gone on to successful careers in academia and industry.
She Received 2nd research and Innovation Award in GU (2022) and Ist Research and Innovation Award in GU (2021). She got Certificate of Appreciation for project guidance in 5 National Level IEEE Project Competition, Appreciation as best faculty coordinator for organizing workshop on Data science (19th -23rd Feb 2024), Certification of Appreciation for talk on Intellectual Property Rights in MNITS on 29th Feb 2024.
