Igniting Creativity: Artistica App Launches on the App Store from Galgotias University's iOS Development Center
Artistica – Explore. Connect. Inspire.
Artistica is more than just an app — it’s a heartfelt creation born from shared passion, purpose, and personal journeys. Developed by four B.Tech CSE (2021–2025) students — Aditya Kumar Gupta, Aida Sharon Bruce, Prateek Kumar Rai, and Roshan Karn — at the iOS Development Center, Galgotias University, this platform is a tribute to the power of creativity and community.
What began as a university project soon transformed into something far deeper. For Aditya, Artistica reflects the values he was raised with — to build something meaningful that uplifts others. Sharon saw the project as a way to rekindle a quiet, waiting passion. Prateek drew strength from his mother’s story
— a school principal and once an aspiring artist — who inspired him to create a space where creative dreams don’t have to fade. And for Roshan, the journey marked a turning point: from a tech-enthusiast to a purposeful builder of a space that gives voice to passionate, undiscovered visual artists.
Together, they crafted Artistica — a digital canvas where visual artists can showcase their work, connect with fellow creators, and participate in weekly imagination-driven challenges. With thoughtfully designed sections like Explore, Community, and Weekly Challenges, the app offers a vibrant, inclusive ecosystem that encourages artistic expression, collaboration, and personal growth.
From brainstorming sessions in classrooms to sleepless nights of coding, UI/UX iterations, and mentorship-backed refinements, every step was driven by the belief that creativity deserves a home. The team identified real struggles faced by artists — isolation, creative blocks, undervaluation — and built Artistica to address them through community, challenge, and visibility.
But the story doesn’t end with launch day.
Backed by their startup Artistico Nest Pvt. Ltd., the creators envision Artistica growing into a larger movement — one where every sketch, brushstroke, or digital masterpiece finds its place, and every artist, emerging or experienced, finds their people.
