ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The International Conference on Comparative Law (ICCL) is a leading global forum that brings together judges, senior advocates, research scholars,practitioners, policymakers and thought leaders to reflect on developments across diverse legal systems. Over time, ICCL has earned a strong reputation for academic rigour, international participation and meaningful dialogue. Its edited volumes—Global Perspectives and Emerging Issues in Comparative Law, Comparative Law: Unravelling Global Legal Systems, Comparative Approaches in Law and Policy, Comparative Law: Its Facets, Nuances and Intricacies, and Legal Frameworks for Sustainable Global Business—continue to serve as important resources for researchers around the world.
A defining feature of ICCL is the partnership between the School of Business & Law, Edith Cowan University (Western Australia) and the School of Law, Galgotias University (India). Together, these institutions have shaped the conference into a truly international space that encourages collaborative research, comparative analysis and academic exchange. Their joint efforts have expanded ICCL’s global footprint, led to co-edited publications and created opportunities for faculty engagement and cross-border dialogue.
ICCL 2026: THE 7th EDITION
Scheduled for 4–5 April 2026, ICCL 2026 aims to build upon the achievements of its previous editions by expanding Indo-Australian academic collaboration and deepening comparative legal research. Co-organised by the School of Law, Galgotias University and the School of Business & Law, Edith Cowan University, the 7th edition will explore emerging comparative legal transformations, global governance challenges and cross-system legal harmonisation. The conference will emphasise high-quality international scholarly submissions, collaborative research opportunities, internationally indexed proceedings, expanded academic networks for students and faculty, enhanced global visibility for Galgotias University and strengthened partnerships with leading law schools and institutions worldwide.
