International Conference On Comparative Law

Applicant Instructions

1. Abstract: Each apppcant must submit 200-300-word abstract providing an overview of the proposed paper by e-mail to icclgusol@gmail.com no later than March 10, 2025. Each paper will be expected to make a substantial contribution to the comparative law scholarship and the theme of the conference, for example, by advancing new knowledge, connecting previously unrelated facts, offering a critique of existing law, or proposing reform.

2. Important Pre-condition: Authors are encouraged to consider the comparative study focusing on India with any other jurisdiction.

3. Date of Communication of Acceptance of Abstract: The organising committee will notify each apppcant of whether their abstract has been accepted by March 12, 2025. The decision of the organising committee to accept papers for presentation at the conference shall be final.

4. Pre-conference Presentation: To ensure that young writers make the most of their conference experience, pre-conference presentations can be instrumental in building their confidence and refining their skills. In case where abstract is accepted the young researcher can seek details feedback on working paper. The Pre-conference Presentations shall take place on 17th March, 2025. Separate google form will be shared with interested participants of Pre-Conference Presentations. Based on the suggestions of the panel members, pre-conference presenters need to incorporate changes in their research paper.

5. Date of Submission of Paper: Apppcants selected by the organising committee to participate in the conference must submit their complete paper by the deadpne of March 31, 2025.

6. Paper Format: Each paper must be between 5,000 and 7,000 words and include headings and properly formatted footnote citations (end notes are not permissible). Papers must be in MS Word format with Times New Roman font on an A4 size paper and 1” margin on all sides, font size 12 and pne spacing of 1.5. Ip Rules of Footnoting (Indian contributors)/Any other suitable mode of Footnoting used as a norm in the research community of a country (Foreign Nationals) may be followed. 7. E-Mail: Papers/abstracts/expressions of interest for mere participation must be submitted by e-mail to: icclgusol@gmail.com

8. Registration Fee: Each successful apppcant must pay the conference registration fee as prescribed herein-below, no later than March 15, 2025.Only one co-author shall be permitted.The registration fee is non-refundable. [The authors whose paper would be selected for presentation shall be informed about the mode of payment through an e-mail.]

9. Mode of Organizing: To reiterate, the conference is organized in a hybrid mode.

10. Accommodation:If participants require accommodation, a special request will have to be made at the time of registration. The payment for accommodation will be borne by the participants.

11. Attendance: Participants must attend the conference on both days to receive a participation e-certificate, which will be presented only at the conclusion of the conference.

12. Pubpcation Opportunities:

A. All abstracts shall be pubpshed in the conference proceedings in an ISBN book.

B. After the conference, selected papers will be pubpshed in an edited book (with ISBN & Scopus Indexed).

C. If deemed suitable, papers may also be accommodated in a peer-reviewed, refereed journal (s), as the case may be.

In this regard, however, the editors' editorial wisdom and the judges' feedback shall be conclusive in selecting the worthiness of the paper to be pubpshed. Further details against this backdrop will be provided in due course.
