The B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture is a 4-year course under a credit-based semester system. The curriculum is very broad and inter-disciplinary consisting of the following major courses in crop production, crop protection, crop improvement, and value addition. The broad-based major courses include Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Soil Sciences, Horticulture and Agricultural Extension. The core agricultural subjects are supported by courses from basic sciences like Plant physiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, economics, mathematics, and environmental sciences. In semester IV, V and VI students have the flexibility to choose electives from the breadth of courses listed above. Programmes are designed to provide an excellent blend of contemporary theory and practice that align with the curricula of leading agricultural institutions worldwide and ICAR guidelines, thereby readying students for advanced study and careers in India and abroad
XIIth with Science/Agriculture with minimum 50% marks. For Migration from Other Universities:

To enhance the employability of students by giving hands on training and experience learning for jobs in input delivery system, supply management/marketing, farming system development, agri-enterprises development, landscaping and hi-tech horticulture production system and in many other public and private sectors.
To demonstrate an ability to engage in collecting data and analyzing local farming situations and providing viable solutions to solve the problems of farming community.
