The objective of this program is to produce design engineers and manufacturing professionals with expertise in the development and application of the state-of-the-art knowledge-oriented software tools for product design, rapid manufacturing, automation, quality assurance, and cost-effectiveness. Candidates with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Mechatronics are eligible.
B.E/B.Tech with minimum 50% marks or equivalent in CGPA in relevant discipline

Graduates shall be into design, manufacturing and innovate products in CAD/CAM or Pursue research.

Graduates shall be a key team player to provide sustainable solutions for complex interdisciplinary problems using modern tools.

Graduates shall be engaged in professional activities with ethical practices to enhance the knowledge and contribute to the society.
An ability to independently carry out research investigation development work to solve practical problems
An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.
Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.
Ability to apply principles of computer aided design and manufacturing engineering in various practical fields to engage in research projects.
Ability to function in software industry in the areas of design and development of software tools for mechanical engineers.
