About the Programme

M.Sc. Microbiology program is of two years duration study program and is divided into four semesters. Microbiology is the branch of the science that deals with the detail study of microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses. This program includes collecting information of diversity and exploration micro-organisms from extreme environments. It also includes about the pathogenicity of the microorganism and etiology of the diseases. The students will also learn the application of bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses in traditional (food, dairy, wine, antibiotics, fermentation, etc.), biotechnological industries, agricultural industries and on environmental aspect

Eligibility

Bachelor Degree in Basic Health or Allied Science with minimum 50% marks or equivalent

Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
