For Lateral Entry:
Minimum 40% require in 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices Technical Vocational subject/ Engineering Graphics
Or
10th (minimum 40%) + 2 year ITI (minimum 40%) shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course(s) in Any branch of Engineering and Technology.

Program Structure01
A Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Electric Vehicle is a three-year diploma course that offers students the knowledge and skills required to design, and optimize, electrical and digital systems of motor vehicles, with a special focus on electric and hybrid vehicles.

Basic knowledge: An ability to apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science, and engineering to solve engineering problems.

Discipline knowledge: An ability to apply discipline-specific knowledge to solve core and/or applied engineering problems.

Experiments and practice: An ability to plan and perform experiments and practices and to use the results to solve engineering problems.

Engineering tools: Apply appropriate technologies and tools with an understanding of the limitations.

The engineer and society: Demonstrate knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to engineering practice.

Ability to design, develop, and integrate EV systems, including powertrains, battery management, and power electronics, using simulation tools while ensuring safety and compliance.

Skills to perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting of EV systems, using modern diagnostic tools and safe handling of high-voltage components.

Capability to integrate sustainable energy solutions in EVs and gain industry-relevant experience through hands-on training, projects, and internships.
