Ms Ritu Srivastava is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the Galgotias university, Noida. Before joining the institute, she was working with IIM Indore in Humanities and social sciences department as an Academic Associate. She did her Masters from University of Lucknow and has achieved 3 Gold medals to be first in order of merit. She is a Doctoral scholar at the University of Lucknow. Her Research focuses specifically on “Third place and Contemporary youth in an urban setting: A sociological study of cafes”. Her area of interest is Youth culture, sociology of food, Gender and sexuality.

B.Sc. in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry from Isabella Thoburn College Lucknow.
M.A in Sociology in Sociology from University of Lucknow.
Qualified NTA NET twice in 2019 and 2020.
Ph.D. ongoing in Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Lucknow.
