Mr. S.Premkumar

Assistant Professor

Mr. S.Premkumar is an Assistant Professor in  School of Computing Science & Engineering  at Galgotias University. He has a total experience of more than 06 years of teaching and is currently pursuing doctoral degree in CSE from the Annamalai University. His primary research area is Internet of Things, where he focuses on ‘Performances of edge computing models for various IoT Applications’. He is a recipient of the Department of Science &Technology (DST) - PURSE scheme as a Project fellow for four years in Annamalai University. Working in these areas he had opportunities to get the sponsorship under OBAMASINGH 21st Century Knowledge Initiative Awards to pursue his postgraduation final year project at Tennessee Technological University Tennessee, USA. He can amicably coordinate with co-professors in order to develop new programs to enhance the abilities of the students in the computer courses. He is highly motivated and dedicated educator who wants all students to be successful in computer science field.
