Prof. (Dr.) Aditya Tomer

Prof. (Dr.) Aditya Tomer is an accomplished legal academic and the current Dean of the School of Law at Galgotias University, Uttar Pradesh. With more than two decades of experience in legal education and administration, he has previously served as Additional Director and Head of Institution at Amity Law School, Noida. His areas of expertise include Contract Law, Labour Law, Arbitration, Comparative Law, and Clinical Legal Education. Dr. Tomer earned his LL.D. from CCS University, Meerut, with a specialization in the enforcement mechanism of the Right to Information in India.

A prolific scholar, Dr. Tomer has authored and edited over 20 books and published numerous research papers in Scopus, Web of Science, and UGC CARE-listed journals. His recent work explores the intersection of law with emerging technologies, human rights, and constitutional governance. He is an active research supervisor guiding Ph.D. and LL.M. scholars across institutions, and his publications reflect a strong interdisciplinary approach rooted in practical relevance and policy impact.

Dr. Tomer has been actively involved in organizing national and international conferences in collaboration with global universities, and he regularly conducts training programs supported by bodies like the NHRC, NCW, and NISD. His commitment to social justice is evident in his efforts to establish legal aid and family dispute resolution centres, promoting community-based legal services and clinical education. As Dean of the School of Law, Galgotias University, and a member of multiple academic and professional bodies, he continues to shape legal thought and practice both in India and abroad.
