Dr. Supriya Krishna is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Gr-II) in the Department of Forensic Science, School of Forensic Science. She holds a Ph.D. in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology from AIIMS, New Delhi, and has built an academic and research-oriented career over the past decade. She has presented her research work at various national and international conferences. Her work focuses on forensic toxicology, particularly the analysis of volatile/non-volatile poisons, alcohol production in biological matrices, and chemical analysis of narcotics and explosives. She has extensive experience in using advanced analytical techniques such as GC-HS, HPLC, AAS, UV-Vis, and FTIR, with more than 10 publications and active roles in postgraduate research supervision, academic training, and national symposiums. Dr. Supriya is also an invited faculty member for various government organizations like Delhi Police Academy; Centre of Fire, Explosives and Environmental Safety, DRDO where she has trained law enforcement officials, defence officials and members of judiciary.
