Dr. Paroma Sen

Associate Professor

Dr.  Paroma Sen is currently working as Associate Professor in School of Liberal Education. She has joined School of Liberal Education, Galgotias University as a faculty of Political Science in July, 2022. Before joining Galgotias University, she worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science in Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi for four years. Apart from working as a faculty of political science she also worked as a research associate and assistant for six years in India Development Foundation where she worked in research projects with UNDP, IKEA Foundation, Wageningen Centre for Development Innovation, Tara Akshar on issues of adult literacy, gender, skill development & civil society governance.   Dr. Sen’s educational credential includes a PhD in Political Science from Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, which she  successfully completed in 2015 on Land, Customary Laws and Gender: An Analysis of Institutional Changes in Land Rights in Haryana and was awarded her doctorate in 2016.
