Dr. Arvind Dagur

Professor and Program Head

Dr. Dagur is currently serving as Professor and Program Head in the School of Computing Science and Engineering at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, India. Previously, he holds the role of Professor and Head in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at KIET Group of Institutions (KEC), Ghaziabad.

With over two decades of academic, research, and administrative experience, he has contributed to several reputed institutions including Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College (AKGEC), ABES Engineering College, and Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology.

He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), New Delhi in 2018, an M. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Allahabad in 2011, and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) Lucknow in 2005.

His research contributions include 80+ publications in reputed international journals and conferences, indexed in SCI, Scopus, DBLP, and UGC-approved list, along with several book chapters in Springer series such as LNCS, AICS, and LNICST. He has also edited and chaired proceedings of international conferences including ICABCS-2023, ICAIIT-2023, ICCMST-2024, ICICCT-2024, and ICAISI-2025. He also served as editor of 16 books published by Taylor and Fransis CRC press.

In addition, he has organized and delivered sessions in FDPs, workshops, and seminars at institutions like MNNIT, IIIT Allahabad, GCET, KIET, and KEC, and qualified the GATE examination three times. He regularly serves as a reviewer, technical session chair, and keynote speaker at reputed academic forums.
