Dr. Anis Ahmad

Professor

ANIS AHMAD is currently working as a Professor (Physics) in the School of Basic Sciences. He has experience of more than 22 years of teaching at under graduate & post graduate programs and has been associated with Galgotias University since August-2011. He passed his M.Sc.(Physics)-1998 from Dr. RML (Avadh) University, Faizabad (currently known as Ayodhya ), Dr. Ahmad has earned his Ph.D. degree from ‘University of Lucknow' Lucknow, -2009. He has worked as Assistance professor (Physics) from september-2000 to July-2011 in 'Azad Institute of Engineering and Technology', Lucknow (U.P.). During his time at the Azad , he served two years as the head of department (HoD) and five years as the in-charge of the examinations. His scientific interests include glassy chalcogenide semiconductors, materials science, nano-materials, and condensed matter physics. Dr. Ahmad developed the Physics labs for the B.Sc., M.Sc., and B.Tech. programmes at Galgotias University. In addition to publishing a patent, he has also authored or co-authored more than seven research publications that have appeared in journals with the SCI/Scopus index. Additionally, he actively participates in the administration of numerous academic initiatives at the university, such as seminars, conferences, workshops, examination etc.
