Dr. Abhishek Maurya

Assistant Professor

Dr. Abhishek Maurya is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, School of Basic Sciences, Galgotias University Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Previously, Dr. Maurya was associated with P P Savani University Surat, India as an Assistant Professor. He has received his Ph.D. Degree from the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. He qualified CSIR-JRF, CSIR-NET, and GATE in Chemical Sciences. He attended FDP, Training, workshops, and several international and national conferences. Dr. Maurya published several research papers in reputed SCI/SCIE peer-reviewed international journals. He have expertise in FT-IR, UV-Vis, NMR, Mass, GC, GC-MS, HRMS, HPLC, TGA,/DTA, AAS, AFM, and single crystal XRD spectrometry techniques. He exhibits an honest work ethic and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Being a passionate teacher, he believes that teaching is not merely restricted to making the students understand the underlying concepts of a course but also to developing critical thinking and evaluating alternate approaches for problem-solving. He always puts his efforts towards the overall development of his students.

Ph.D. Thesis title:“Development of neat and polymer-supported dinuclear vanadium and copper complexes as the catalysts for green oxidation of organic compounds by hydrogen peroxide”
