Event Brief Description
World Immunization Day is observed annually to raise awareness about the importance of vaccines in preventing life-threatening diseases and strengthening community health. In alignment with the 2025 theme, “Immunization for All is Humanly Possible,” Galgotias School of Nursing organized community outreach activities at PHC Dankaur and Vivekananda Vidhyapeeth School, Dankaur with the active participation of B.Sc. Nursing 5th semester students under the guidance of Dr. Lekha Bist (Dean) School of Nursing.
At PHC Dankaur, the students performed a role play focusing on the significance of childhood immunization, clearing misconceptions about vaccines, and encouraging parents to follow the complete immunization schedule.
Event Detailed Description
The activity was conducted in a simple and understandable manner for the local community and received positive appreciation from the audience and PHC staff. At Vivekananda Vidhyapeeth School, the students presented a poem imitation on immunization, designed especially for school children to promote awareness in an interactive and engaging way.
Implementation
The students emphasized the importance of staying healthy through timely vaccination, which was well-received by the school children and teachers.
