School of Finance & Commerce (SFC), Galgotias University, Greater Noida, conducted a speaker session on “IPR Awarenessfor undergraduate students. The session was arranged in collaboration with Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade under their National IP Awareness Mission (NIPAM) and was undertaken by Ms. Chhavi Garg (NIPAM Officer & Examiner of Patents & Designs) to provide knowledge on how Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) serve as a cornerstone in fostering innovation, creativity, and economic growth in today's knowledge-driven society.

 School of Finance & Commerce (SFC) recently conducted a speaker session on "IPR Awareness" in collaboration with the National IP Awareness Mission (NIPAM). Ms. Chhavi Garg, a NIPAM Officer, and Examiner of Patents & Designs led the session, emphasizing the crucial role of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in fostering innovation, creativity, and economic growth.

The session focused on elucidating the essential rights associated with patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Patents were highlighted as safeguards for novel inventions, trademarks for brand identity, copyrights for artistic and literary works, and trade secrets for confidential business information.
