The School of Allied Health Sciences at Galgotias University successfully conducted a dynamic and insightful Induction Program for its incoming batch of students on 13th September 2024. The week-long program was thoughtfully curated to warmly welcome students from various departments including Physiotherapy, Medical Lab Technology (MLT), Cardiovascular Technology (CVT), Optometry (OPT), and Radiology. The aim was to ease their transition into university life while offering a comprehensive overview of their academic journey ahead.
The program commenced with a formal inaugural session, graced by the presence of esteemed faculty members, healthcare professionals, and industry experts. The speakers shared inspirational messages, personal career insights, and the importance of allied health sciences in modern healthcare, igniting a sense of purpose and passion among the new students.
Throughout the induction week, students participated in a variety of informative and interactive sessions designed to provide them with academic clarity, professional awareness, and personal development

Learning Management System (LMS) and Examination Framework
Students were introduced to the university’s Learning Management System (LMS), a centralized platform for accessing course content, submitting assignments, and tracking academic progress. Regular use of LMS was emphasized for keeping up with announcements, deadlines, and faculty communications.
The academic evaluation system follows the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) model, focusing on well-defined learning outcomes and skill acquisition. Assessments are conducted through a mix of:
Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) including quizzes, practicals, and assignments
End-Semester Examinations (SEE) for comprehensive subject evaluation
