Essential Constituents of Productive Research

Through this workshop, SCAT hopes to better understand the thesis writing process and enhance research outcomes. It also hopes to better project research findings on research databases.The goal of SCAT is to support the maintenance of global standards for educational systems. With the help of this workshop, the school hopes to boost its standing internationally for having a renowned academic as a resource, increase research outcomes, and have its research recognised on worldwide platforms.

Prof Arthur James Swart hails from the Central University of Technology, Bloemfontein, South Africa. He belongs to the Faculty of Engineering, Department Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering to be precise. He is presently serving as the principal research leader for a Research Group in Engineering Education. He is having a 30 years’ experience in academics and 5 years in industry. His teaching expertise and passion lies in scientific academic writing, research methodology and data analytics. With his over 200 publications, he has been placed at C2 level of the National Research Foundation, South Africa, promoted from Y2 level since he was listed first in 2015. Till date, He has earned himself over a number of awards, starting since he was a student at college. He is associated with over a dozen of Journals and Conferences of national and international repute either as a reviewer, an editor or an advisor making him a worthy speaker for every research personnel.
