Career Counseling Workshop, SOLE Students (22-04-2025)

The primary objective of the career counseling session was to guide BA Psychology students in identifying suitable career paths, understanding higher education opportunities, and gaining clarity about the diverse professional avenues available in the field of psychology, specially Forensic Psychology and Criminology.
The session began with an overview of various career opportunities for psychology graduates, including roles in Forensic psychology, research and education.
The importance of acquiring practical skills such as communication, empathy, active listening, ethical decision-making, and research methodology was emphasized. The speaker also encouraged students to engage in internships and volunteer work. Students found the session informative, motivating, and well-structured. Many appreciated the practical tips and the clarity provided regarding different career paths. The interactive nature of the session was particularly well-received. The session successfully served its purpose of guiding students in exploring various career opportunities in psychology.
