On 18th October 2023 blood donation camp was organized at University Campus at C-Block Ground Floor in collaboration of Rashtriya Charitable Blood Center Noida. The blood donation camp had its time from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Blood donation is one of the most significant contributions that a person can make towards the society.
The School of Liberal Education at Galgotias University organized a Blood Donation Camp On 18th October 2023 at University Campus at C-Block Ground Floor in collaboration of Indian Red Cross Society, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Rashtriya Charitable Blood Center Noida to promote a culture of altruism and to contribute to the community's well-being. The blood donation camp had its time from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. This event aimed to encourage both students and faculty members to participate in this noble cause, thereby reinforcing the values of empathy, social responsibility, and community engagement. The Blood Donation Camp was held at the premises of the School of Liberal Education within the Galgotias University campus. The event was planned and executed meticulously with the assistance of professionals from a reputed local blood bank. The Blood Donation Camp instilled a sense of social responsibility among the students. It provided them with an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of society and help those in need. Through their participation, students learned the importance of giving back to the community. The event encouraged teamwork and camaraderie among students. Many students volunteered to assist in the camp's organization, which helped develop their organizational and leadership skills. The collective effort in setting up and managing the camp created a sense of unity among the students. Blood donation not only benefits the recipient but also the donor. Donating blood helps in regulating blood circulation, reducing the risk of certain diseases, and maintaining a healthy iron level. Students who participated received health benefits in return for their altruistic act.
Faculty and Students of School of Liberal Education contributed in the camp as volunteers. Senior doctor of Rashtriya Charitable Blood Center Noida also invited our college team for an educational tour to their organization and requested Dean School of Liberal Education to take students to for short trip. Trust also offered to provide internship program for students.
Trust presented certificate of appreciation to the volunteers and presented a Certificate of appreciation to the faculty and Dean, School of Liberal Education to provide such a beautiful atmosphere for the donation.
