Mr. Vikas shah is currently working as Assistant Professor in School of medical and allied science. He has total experience of more than 7 years in the field of microbiology and has been associated with Galgotias University since august 2022. He is firm Believer of productivity and efficiency in work. He Exhibits an honest work ethic with the ability to excel in fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Being a passionate teacher, he believes that teaching is not merely restricted to making the students understand the underlying concepts of a course but also to develop critical thinking and evaluate alternate approaches for problem solving. He always put his efforts towards the overall developments of his students.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Working as Asst. Professor at Galgotias university from 8th august 2022 to till date.
  • Worked as a Assistanat Professor of microbiology at Shadan college of Bsc MLT, Hyderabad from January 2020 to till 4th August 2022.
  • Worked as Microbiologist for Matrix imaging solutions, laboratory located at Bangalore Medical college and Research Institute, PMSSY block, Victoria hospital campus, KR market, Bangalore, from November 2017 to August 2019.
  • Worked as In-charge at Rainbow children’s hospital, Marathalli, Bangalore from February 2016 to October 2017.
  • Worked as Microbiologist at People tree Hospitals from September 2015 to January 2016.
  • Worked at St.Johns medical college and hospital, Sarjapur road, Bangalore for 6 Months.

  • Have experience in fully automated system like VITEK-2, and BacT Alert 3D, BD FX40, BD FX 200, BD PHOENIX AUTOMATED AST AND IDENTIFICATIN.
  • Routine serological tests like ASO, CRP, RA, WIDAL, VDRL, RPR and ELISA methods like HIV, HBsAg, HCV, HBcIgM, HAV, ANA, Anti dsDNA, Anti Dengue IgM, AntiLepto IgM
  • Environmental microbial surveillance study from all CCUs and Operation theatres and experience in the study of water culture.
  • Maintainance of ATCC strains.
  • Performing QC in microbiology.
