Rachit Tandon is an Assistant Professor in School of Law, Galgotias University. He completed his Master’s in Law (LL.M.) at NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, focusing on the intersection of law and tech. He likes to teach Criminal, Civil and Constitutional laws. His research includes a comparative study of AI regulations in the US, Europe, and China, as well as a critical analysis of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, examining its alignment with global privacy standards.
Rachit holds a Bachelor’s in Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from NIT Allahabad and a Bachelor’s in Law (LL.B.) from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Before his transition into law, Rachit worked as a Software Engineer at Samsung Research Institute in Noida.
Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Rachit is a triathlete and an outdoor enthusiast. He has competed in triathlons, securing the 4th position in a full Ironman distance triathlon at DIT 2019, and earned an 'A' grade in the Basic Mountaineering Course at ABVIMAS, Manali. Rachit has also summited two mountains over 6,000 meters. His interest in endurance sports includes cycling, where he has completed multiple Brevets de Randonneurs Mondiaux (BRM) events.
