About the Programme

The Bachelor of Pharmacy program (B. Pharm) is designed to provide students with comprehensive and practical training for a career in Pharmaceutical Sciences. It is structured with an emphasis on research, innovation and creativity. This program trains students with a range of skills required for industry ready professional. It provides training on how drugs are developed, how patients use them, and how pharmacists can optimize patient care through interaction with other health professionals.

The course is taught through a combination of lectures, seminars, flipped classes, practical and project-based learning. The Department has adequate infrastructure, laboratory facilities, computer center and a treasure trove of books for the students.

Eligibility

XIIth with 60% and Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Math/Biology/ Biotechnology.

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years

For Lateral Entry:

Passed Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) with a minimum 50% or 6.0 CGPA

For Migration from Other Universities:

1) B.Pharma Ist yr. minimum 50% marks or 5.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale

2) XIIth with 50% and Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects, additional Math/ Biology/Biotechnology

Pharmacy Knowledge: Possess knowledge and comprehension of the core and basic knowledge associated with the profession of pharmacy, including biomedical sciences; pharmaceutical sciences; behavioral, social, and administrative pharmacy sciences; and manufacturing practices.
