4 Years (3 Years + 1 Year Clinical Training / Internship)The Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management programme aims to develop skilled, competent, and ethical Health Information Professionals capable of managing, analyzing, and safeguarding patient health data in healthcare settings. The programme combines academic knowledge and hands-on clinical training to equip graduates with skills in medical coding, electronic health records (EHR), data analytics, quality assurance, and healthcare compliance.
Upon completion of the programme, graduates will be proficient in health data management, clinical documentation, coding and classification systems, health information systems, and legal and ethical frameworks for patient data. They will be able to ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute effectively as part of multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Class XII or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Mathematics / Computer Science.
The minimum age should be 17 years as on December 31st of each Admission Year.
(Medical fitness certificate is mandatory to submit and it is to be endorsed by Government Medical Officer)
