About the Programme

The Bachelor of Respiratory Technology programme aims to provide comprehensive academic and clinical training to develop competent, compassionate, and patient-centered Respiratory Therapists. The programme prepares graduates to function as skilled healthcare professionals with strong critical-thinking abilities in the assessment, treatment, and care of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Upon completion of the programme, graduates will be proficient in performing respiratory care procedures, operating and managing respiratory and life-support equipment, and assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. They will be able to ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality assurance, manage emergency and critical care situations, and deliver ethical, empathetic, and professional patient care as effective members of the healthcare team.

Eligibility

Class XII or equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB). NEET appearance is mandatory.
The minimum age should be 17 years as on December 31st of each Admission Year.
(Medical fitness certificate is mandatory to submit and it is to be endorsed by Goverment Medical Officer)
