Duration

4 Years

About the Programme

The B.Des. in Interior Spatial Design equips students to envision and create human-centred interior and spatial experiences—from cozy residences and branded retail to immersive exhibitions and high-traffic transit hubs. Grounded in progressive studio learning, the four-year curriculum weaves together:

  • Spatial Narrative: A sequence of studios that build layered storytelling, circulation and experiential design skills.
  • Technical Mastery: Hands-on focus on materials, joinery, services) and advanced prototyping.
  • Cultural & Sustainable Context: Deep dives into history, theory, Indian traditions, adaptive-reuse, low-carbon materials and landscape interfaces.
  • Research & Professional Practice: A clear ladder from entry-level research methods through a Design Seminar to a public-juried Capstone Thesis, plus modules in entrepreneurship, ethics, project management and portfolio development.

Studio-based projects, interdisciplinary electives and an eight-week industry internship ensure graduates emerge as agile, context-sensitive designers ready for practice, leadership or higher study.
