Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Social Work program offered by the Galgotias University is a 4 year Under Graduate academic degree program. The overall aims of Bachelor’s programme in Social work is to impart training in professional social work in order to develop human resources having competence to work with individuals, groups and communities for the promotion of welfare and development. This programme also aims to develop competencies with knowledge, skills and attitudes required for social work interventions. There is special emphasis to develop the students as professional social worker with sensitivity towards social concerns and problems through inculcation of democratic and humanitarian values.
