About the Programme

The Master of Arts (M.A.) in French program at Galgotias University is a two-year postgraduate course designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of French language, literature, and critical theory. The curriculum encompasses a wide range of subjects, including French Literature (from medieval to contemporary), Francophone Literature, Literary Theory and Criticism, and advanced French Linguistics. Students also engage with cultural studies topics such as French Civilization, History, and contemporary societal issues. The program emphasizes research and practical application, culminating in a postgraduate thesis.
