About the Programme

The M.Des. in Interior and Spatial Design prepares designers to shape human-centred, sustainable and culturally resonant interior environments—from single-room interventions to large, mixed-use adaptive-reuse projects. Students develop a synthesis of spatial thinking, material innovation, lighting, furniture systems, building-code literacy and digital workflows (BIM, parametric modelling, VR/AR). Live studios, community partnerships and industry collaborations anchor learning in real contexts, while research seminars cultivate critical perspectives on wellbeing, heritage, and environmental stewardship.
