Dr. Abdul Rahaman Shaik is currently working as Dean and Professor in the School of Medical and Allied Sciences, Department of Pharmacy. He has a total experience of more than 23 years of teaching, research & administration in Pharmaceutical Sciences, with 12 years and 5 months in leadership roles as Dean and Principal and has been associated with Galgotias University since August, 2023. He has received 1.46 Crore grants from DST-SERB, DST-FIST, ICMR, AICTE-MODROBS, AICTE-PMKVY, AICTE-ATAL-FDP, AICTE-GOC, CST-UP, NRG, Galgotias Seed Grants, etc., He has delivered 53 Scientific presentations as Resource person. He has received 24 awards from various Government and Non-Government agencies such as Education Excellence Award-2024, Global Faculty Award-2023, Best Researcher Award from APTI, Best Dean Award, Eminent Pharmacist Award-2023, Bharat Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar, International Research Award, Best Researcher Award-2022, Out Standing Scientist Award, etc.,

He has supervised 10 PhD, 69 PG, 15 Pharm D and 113 UG student project works. He has organized 86 National/International events as Convener. He is Life Member of APTI (Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India), IAO (International Accreditation Organization), FIC (Fellow in Chemistry) and IPA (Indian Pharmaceutical Association). He is well expertise and experienced in NAAC, NBA Accreditations, NIRF Ranking, Global Rankings and ISO certifications. He is playing important roles as NAAC Assessor, BOS Chair Person, IAEC Chair Person, APTI-AP EC Member, AP state Library consortium Member, acted as BOS Member, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Innovation Ambassador, etc., Recently, he has published the article in The Lancet Microbe journal with 38.2 impact factor. At present he is working as Editor for 7 Books with prestigious publishers Springer Nature and Taylor & Francis and Wiley.
