Mr. Neeraj Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor (School of Artificial Intelligence – SoAI) at Galgotias University, Greater Noida. He is an enthusiastic academician with strong expertise in teaching, research, academic coordination & student mentoring and is actively involved in shaping outcome-based and industry-relevant education.
With experience spanning teaching at reputed institutions, he has contributed significantly to curriculum delivery, project supervision, accreditation activities (NBA), and academic administration. He has successfully handled multiple responsibilities such as Project Coordinator, Year Coordinator, Time Table Coordinator, Hackathon Coordinator, and Club Coordinator, reflecting his leadership and organizational skills.
Mr. Neeraj strongly believes in learning by doing and adopts a student-centric teaching approach that integrates theoretical foundations with hands-on practical exposure. He actively mentors students in hackathons, coding competitions, research projects, and innovation-driven activities, encouraging them to solve real-world problems using modern technologies.
His research interests lie in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, and Intelligent Systems. He has published research papers in Scopus-indexed journals, IEEE conferences, and is also the inventor of an Indian patent in the domain of intelligent systems. He regularly participates in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, and certifications to stay aligned with emerging technologies and evolving academic practices.
Beyond academics, he has played a key role in organizing technical events, workshops, orientation programs, and national-level hackathons, contributing to the holistic development of students. He is recognized for his dedication and excellence through multiple awards, including the Young Faculty Excellence Award, Best Mentor recognition, and appreciation from industry and academic bodies.
