Ms. Swaleha Khanam

Assistant professor

Ms. Swaleha Khanam is an experienced Assistant Professor with over Eight years of experience in teaching, training, and mentoring students across diverse fields including communication, personality development, and life skills. Her passion lies in grooming students for the corporate world by equipping them with essential skills such as critical thinking, effective communication, and teamwork.

She has also conducted a variety of courses, seminars, and training sessions on soft skills, elocution, and personality development, all aimed at enhancing the learning experience and improving student engagement. In addition to her academic roles, she has successfully facilitated workshops and training for corporate employees, focusing on communication and life skills that drive professional growth.

She has consistently championed meaningful causes through her work, including launching the campaign ‘NO STEREOTYPE AGAINST NORTHEAST,’ which she led in collaboration with Mr. Sharad Sharma of World Comics India, where they used grassroots comics to raise awareness and challenge stereotypes.

Throughout her academic journey, she have actively contributed to various creative and impactful projects like Street play, Puppet shows, creating audio content for public service announcement, addressing the critical issue like racism, Superstitions, child labour and many more.

  • M.A: Development Communication from AJK Mass Communication research center, Jamia Millia Islamia.
  • BJMC (Bachelor of journalism and mass Communication) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
