Pragya Tewari is currently working as an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Galgotias University. She has more than 17 years of total experience, including 16+ years of teaching. A passionate academician and researcher, she believes teaching is not limited to transferring knowledge but also about nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students.
She has successfully organized and coordinated several national and international conferences, FDPs, and workshops, and contributed actively as Cultural Program Chair and event coordinator at Galgotias University. She has also played a significant role in institutional development through NAAC-related activities, Smart India Hackathon coordination, and innovation-driven student events.
Her research contributions span Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Deep learning and Neural Networks, with multiple publications in reputed journals and conferences, patents, and book chapters. She has also been actively involved in guiding and mentoring students toward holistic development.
